Andy Oppenheimer AIExpE MIABTI is a UK-based consultant in CBRNE and counterterrorism. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Explosives Engineers, a Member of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators, and author of IRA: The Bombs and the Bullets – A History of Deadly Ingenuity (Irish Academic Press, 2008). As an External Contributor to the University of St Andrews’ Course in Terrorism Studies he has authored the Modules on CBRN in Terrorism and IEDs: Threats & Countermeasures, and is updating other Modules on the Course.

Dr. Salma Abbasi is the Founder and CEO of the eWorldwide Group, an international consultancy which provides state of the art resilience and security services and solutions. She is working with Governments and development agencies to promote peace and stability through effective community cohesion and development to prevent violent extremism and radicalisation.

Dr. Abbasi is also an advisory board member of the EastWest Institute in the US, which focuses on building trust and dialogue, influencing policies and delivering solutions threating regional and global stability. She was also a senior associate fellow in the International Policy department and later in the Conflict, Security and Development department at King’s College, London. Also as a member of the International Telecommunication Union’s (ITU) High Level Experts Group (HLEG) for Cyber security, and a member of the COP task force, she is working on defining national level security strategies and policies for cybercrime and security.

She joined hands with UNESCO to help support and drive the ‘power of peace’ initiative. Recognising the impact of the digital society on youth, she founded and championed the creation of an international network of ‘Global Cyber Ambassadors for Peace’ (GCAP). Dr. Abbasi was awarded the Ibn Khaldun Award for Excellence by the UK Government, Ministry of Communities and Local Government for promoting understanding between global cultures.

Frank possesses over 30 years of multi-disciplinary real world experience in the emergency preparedness and response arenas.

He is a licensed and certified health professional with extensive training and experience in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, critical care medicine and occupational and environmental medicine.

In addition, Frank is an environmental and occupational health scientist with expertise in toxic inhalations, pulmonary pathobiology, toxic respiratory disabilities, environmental exposure assessments, emergency management of complex environmental health emergencies, and environmental forensics.
